Register for Nami Exchange account

Registering a new account is the first step for users to start using features and products of Nami Exchange. Users can create an account on Nami Exchange website, or on Nami Exchange mobile application downloaded on Apple AppStore or Google Play Store.


Important Notice:

  • In order to increase the security of the account system, from 2023-09-12 04:00 (UTC), email addresses coming from Hotmail and Outlook providers with the format ***@hotmail.com and ***@outlook.com will no longer be supported when registering a new account on Nami Exchange.
  • From 2023-09-12 15:00 (UTC), accounts registered from the above email addresses will also not be able to complete KYC.

How to register an account on Nami Exchange App?

Step 1: At the main screen of Nami Exchange application, select "Account" in the top left corner or click "Login / Sign Up" button in the banner

Step 2: Select “Sign Up”

Step 3: ​Users can register Nami account via Phone number or Email. Users can input referral code (if any), then select "Confirm."

Notice: If the user registers an account via the referral link, the Referral code section will be automatically filled in and displayed according to the referrer's information.

Step 4: Check your email, activate your account by pressing the “Confirm” button.

Troubleshooting: Nami Exchange application cannot be updated with Android OS

There is a certain percentage of devices using Android OS that cannot upgrade to the latest version of the Nami Exchange application, this happens because the device's data storage memory is overloaded.

The following are handling instructions:

  • Go to Settings, then select Apps.
  • Find and tap on the "Nami Exchange" app.
  • Navigate to Storage.
  • Tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  • Finally, reopen the app and go to the Version screen to update to the latest version.

(Tips: Users can also delete the application and download it again, or switch from Wifi connection to 3G/4G data connection to improve application version upgrade speed)

How to register an account on Nami Exchange website?

Step 1: At the main screen, in the upper right corner select the box "Sign Up"

Step 2: ​Users can register Nami account via Phone number or Email. Users can input referral code (if any), then select "Confirm."

Notice:

  • In case the email cannot be found in the main box, user should check the spam/junk box for account activation email from Nami Exchange
  • User can always leave the Referral Code field blank when signing up and re-enter it after successfully activated account

Sign up for a Nami account by linking to a 3rd party account

Nami Exchange provides users with the option to register for a Nami Exchange account by linking to a third-party account, including an Apple, Google accounts. When logging in with an account registered with this form, users need to log in by clicking on the Apple, Google icon below the login screen.

Users can always convert this login form back to the normal login form, by resetting the password for the account via the Forgot Password feature, following the detailed instructions here.
